"I'm feeling pretty adventurous right now."

Of course Bruce's version of 'adventurous' when it comes to sex is pretty tame when compared to most everyone else. But that really wasn't what he was thinking of when he mentioned the tub - even if he wouldn't mind having some fun there too.

He kisses the side of her breast, a smile etched onto his own lips, his eyes closed, feeling the safest when curled up next to her like this.

Then again most people don't run the risk of literally crushing their lovers because of turning into a giant green angry thing, so really sex is a pretty adventurous activity for Bruce by default.

And Trish doesn't think there's anything tame about their sex life, for what it's worth.

"Really? Do share your thoughts."

Well, it is all pretty exciting to him, even when it's only about getting her off and nothing more.

He looks up at the question, eyebrows arched.

"Hm? Oh. No, nothing. Just generally speaking."

He's just had an orgasm, alright. That's amazingly adventurous of him.

It's very exciting for Trish too, he's really good at getting her off.

"It's going to be even harder to keep my hands off you now."

Hope you're ready for a sexual marathon, Bruce.

His smile turns a little more amused, as he props his weight up on an elbow and shifts up, just enough to press his lips to hers in a kiss.

"Oh, no. That sounds terrible."

She huffs out a little laugh against his lips, forever charmed by his particular brand of mild-mannered sarcasm.

"I'm sorry darling, it's a cross you'll have to bear."

He lets out a soft little sound, something close to a whine were he to be at all serious about his objections.

"Guess I'll just have to cope... somehow."

He kisses her again, slower this time, his hand curling around her side and tugging her closer.

She slides a hand into his hair and returns the kiss, affectionately pressing herself close to him with a pleased little hum.

"I feel for you, I really do."

He chuckles softly, lips still brushing over hers, kissing and nipping lightly, while their bodies press together in a very comfortable way that has him not wanting to move at all anytime soon.

"You, the inflicter of my torture? Liar."

They fit too well together for movement to be in any way desirable, and he is too good at kissing for her to want to do anything but enjoy his wonderful lips for pretty much the rest of her life.

"Maybe I am a very conflicted torturer."

"I highly doubt that."

He's grinning though, kissing her lazily, pulling back every so often to look over her features.

"You know... I really hate the thought of moving right now, but I kind of want to set up that bath."

She lets out a little whine at the thought of moving, but she too can hear the siren song of the bathtub.

"Think we'll both fit?"

He lifts up his head a little more, looking into her eyes properly.

"Are you kidding? Did you look at the size of that bathtub? It's bigger than most of the beds I've slept in."

"Okay, you make a good point."

She very reluctantly pulls away from him to climb out of the bed, hurrying to the bathroom because she is still pretty excited about the tub and glad that she's already going to get to know it better.

She starts to run the water and then just sits down on the edge of the tub and waits for Bruce to come join her.

He watches her leave, smiling to himself as he lies back on the bed. A myriad of feelings and thoughts are going through him right now, and yet he doesn't seem to be able to focus on any of them.

He does, however, know that he feels happy beyond measure. That's a feeling he's not used to - or wasn't, before he met Trish. He just had some days in which he was a little less sad than others.

But now... now, a myriad of other options seem to open themselves up to him. He's still not entirely sure he deserves them, but he'll cling to them and fight for them to the last of his strength and ability.

When he hears the water running, he finally sits up, making his way to the bathroom and poking his head in before he steps inside, leaning against the doorframe as he watches her with a smile.

She looks back at him, smiling with her eyes raised in question.

"What are you looking at?"

His eyebrows lift at her in response, smile tugging at his lips.

"What, can't look at the most beautiful woman in the world?"

"I guess when you put it that way."

Trish tends to not respond to compliments by trying to refute them, rather she just accepts them with gratitude and leaves it at that. Why wouldn't Bruce think she is the most beautiful woman in the world? He's in love with her! Just like she is of the opinion that there is not a more handsome man on this planet than him.

He appreciates that. He wouldn't say it if he didn't mean it, and he's glad she's not in the habit of not accepting his compliments.

"Good. For a moment I almost worried I was breaking some kind of law."

Said teasingly as he walks over to her, reaching out to sift his fingers through her hair.

She puts her hands on his hips and leans in to press a kiss to his chest, smiling up at him.

"No, I was just fishing for compliments."

"Well luckily for you, I always bite."

He smiles back, leaning down to press a kiss to her forehead, lingering as he cradles the back of her head.

"Yeah, I'm a very lucky woman."

She doesn't know why, of all people, Bruce chose to entrust her with his heart, but she will be forever grateful for it. This love has brought so much into her life, both good and bad, and she has grown tremendously as a person because of it.

If she were religious, she would say that she feels blessed.

One doesn't need to be religious to feel blessed. Bruce does, every single day, and he hardly believes in some higher power like that. Well, at least not that kind of higher power.

"And I'm a very lucky man."

Fingers of both hands tracing along her cheeks, he cups her face, tipping his head a little more to press a lingering kiss to her lips.

She returns the kiss warmly, but then pulls away from him so that she can turn the water off. Then she gets to her feet to leave room for Bruce.

"You get in first."

He helps her up as she steps away from the tub, then holding onto the edge, he dips one foot into the water, then another, slowly as his skin gets used to the hot water temperature. Only once he's managed that does he lower himself, keeping a good grip so his weight is steady until he's sitting down, his legs partly submerged in the water.

He then offers his hand out to her, to help her get in too.
