He still remembers well how the Hulk behaved around Betty, for instance, even when he wasn't in control. Sure, the first time he hurt her, but that had been the only time. He never attacked her since then - even went so far as protecting her on more than one occasion.
"But he could still do a lot of damage, if I turned now."

She still is, of course, because the Hulk is unpredictable and maybe he would decide that she should be smashed for giving Puny Banner an orgasm. Who even knows with the big guy.

Well, he doubts the Hulk would really smash her for that exactly, but he really is worried about finding out anyway.
"Maybe we should just... go somewhere. Use this vacation time of yours and find some remote cabin in the middle of nowhere."
They could try there, take all the time they need. If it does turn sour he can just have the Hulk run off somewhere until he cools down and goes back to normal.

Once she has examined whatever leads might be here (and she suspects Bruce is right in thinking this was about him so that shouldn't take long) they really should just... Go somewhere they can truly test their limits.

Not that he can blame her. If he's being perfectly honest, he's pretty excited about the idea too, even if also still worried and a little bit afraid.

She's definitely braver than he is, or at least that's how he sees it. That's how he'll always see it.
