But you did anyway.

[ It's a statement, but there's a hint of a question lingering there well as she holds a hand out to him, patient in invitation. ]

I did anyway.

[ He reaches, hesitant, but eventually his fingers wrap around her palm. His tone slightly amused, he adds. ]

It's widely known I sometimes make terrible life choices.

Do you think this is one of them?

[ One corner of her lips quirks up higher than the other as she gives his hand a light squeeze, then gives him a tug into the room, nudging the door shut behind him. Her room is simple and comfortable and while there's a couch tucked against the far wall in a separate seating area, she leads him instead to the bed, sinking down to perch on the edge and pat the space beside her. ]

[ Despite being a simple enough thing, the contact of their hands together relaxes him a little, and he's easily guided along as she leads the way into the room. He pauses before he answers, still he sounds sure when he answers. ]

No. [ Not letting go, he halts his steps, then follows after, taking a seat next to her on the edge of the bed. ] Or I hope not, at least.

[ She angles herself to face him, her smile lingering as her gaze catches his, searching his face. ]

Good. And with said with minimal sputtering too. I'll take it as an achievement. For what it's worth? I'm glad you did.

For the record, I can handle things just fine with little to no sputtering.

[ Still, he grins, because he can recognize that the very offer had surprised him more than just a little, and clearly had left him at a loss of what to say. He shifts where he sits too, just enough to look back at her, as he adds honestly. ]

It's just... been a while. [ Not really a response to her words now, but he feels like he has to say it, even if he's sure she's figured out that much on her own. ]

I'm sure you can. [ She's not humoring him. Oh no, not at all.

His confession gets that same quirked smile and she leans a little closer, her hand propped between them on the mattress as she tilts her head to the side. ] That's alright. I have every confidence in your attention to detail.

[ And because talking isn't going them there any faster, she closes those last few inches to brush her lips against his, light and exploring. ]

[ Attention to detail, that's... one way to put it. But he doesn't get any time to answer to that before she's leaning over and running her lips along his, barely there.

Now when he says it's been a while, it really has. Enough that just that one touch all but sucks the air off his lungs entirely. But despite the slight delay at first, he eventually tilts his head to the side and presses a little closer, moving one hand up to cup her jaw and neck, thumb stroking along her cheek. ]

[ She leans into that touch, angled against the warm roughness of his hand. Her own slides in to brush against his knee, then to rest against his thigh as she shifts subtly closer. It makes him easier to reach and she presses more fully against him, deepening the kiss a hint as her lips part against his. ]

[ He responds promptly, his own lips parting too as he seeks to deepen the kiss, not wasting any time in thinking about what to do and just going on instinct, which frankly in this case it's what'll work best. Fueled by the touch to his thigh, he rests his other hand on her waist, settling there softly for a moment before moving to circle around her, pulling her closer. ]

[ She goes easily, letting him pull her in as she curls in against his front. Her free hand lifts, wraps around his shoulders, lets her long fingers tangle in his tousled curls as she meets him equally, exploring, teasing, testing this new-found contact out. Her tongue playfully teases against his lower lip, tasting him. ]

[ The touch to his lip draws a soft sound from him, barely above a breath and spilled into the kiss as his tongue searches further as well, tasting her lip, grazing her teeth before sliding against her own tongue, a little stifled at first but bit by bit, relaxing into it. His hand on her back curls lightly into the fabric of her shirt, while the other slides around her neck, fingers weaving through the hair above her nape as he cradles her head gently. ]

[ She encourages that relaxation, matching him as she curls in as close as their positions allow. She shifts closer, her kiss exploring and searching, inviting, swallowing that sounds she'd won from him with a tiny smile of accomplishment. Her fingers play against the nape of his neck, light and teasing, taking her time. ]

[ Every move she makes is slow and thorough, and he appreciates that. It allows him the pause he needs to keep his heart rate calm without even giving it much thought, and allowing him to focus almost entirely on her.

He'd almost forgotten the warmth in a kiss like that, the textures that can be found in every nook. It entices and invites him, his shoulders lowering so that as much as possible of his neck is exposed for her. Softly, the fingers on her back play with the hem of her shirt, slipping under the fabric to feel the warm skin beneath. ]

[ She makes a soft sound of encouragement against his lips when his fingers skim against her skin, arching into the touch almost like a cat being petted. Her lips curve against his, warm and fond as she lets him explore, taking her time, more than content to let him set the pace for what he needed. not that she didn't still take things a step further when opportunities presented themselves.

Like now, because she wanted to touch, taste, explore him. And they were both still wearing too many clothes. Her fingers slid around the collar of his shirt, following the fabric down until she came to the first button, slipping it free while giving him an inquisitive look, silently asking if that was alright. ]

[ He feels her hands slide around the collar of his shirt, down the front until she can release the first button, and her look he returns with a small single nod, barely there, along with two short muttered words. ]

Go on... [ While he too keeps going, sliding his hands up her back, his fingers tracing her spine. Then as he reaches the hem of her bra, he slides his palms around her sides to rest on her front instead, guiding the fabric of her shirt farther up with every small motion. ]

[ One corner of her lips tilts up against his mouth as she lets her fingers slide downwards, unbuttoning his shirt as she goes. She lets her fingertips slide against the warm skin she reveals as she goes, occasionally adding the faintest scrape of nails to the touch.

When he lifts her shirt to a certain point, she pulls back just enough that she can wiggle out of it with his help, leaving her sitting there in just her jeans and a bra, but she's not at all self-conscious. She returns the favor by reaching out to slide his now-unbuttoned shirt off his shoulders, discarding it so her hands can return to exploring. ]

[ His touch stops, pulling away for just the while it takes him to help her in getting rid of his shirt. Then his fingers trace back up her sides, wanting to pull her close but at the same time knowing that would limit what they could reach, how much they could discover in each other.

Tipping his head to the side, he explores with his mouth as much as with his hands, though still very light for now, kissing a trail down her neck and towards her collarbone. Each peck a gentle touch, slow but present, as his fingers start fumbling with the hook of her bra. ]

[ She gives a soft sigh of pleasure when his mouth moves down her throat, arching towards him as her head falls back, utterly enjoying his attention. One hand lifts to thread in his curls, anchoring a grip, her nails raking lightly against his scalp as her other hand continues in her exploration. Down over his torso, pausing to inspect every dip, every nuance, she learns him by touch rather than sight, seeking out sensitivity as she works her way down. She pauses to let her fingertips circle around one of his nipples, teasing over the nub with a light touch, gauging his reaction to everything. ]

[ Air flows slowly in and out of him, inhales turning into slightly sharper gasps at every shift of her gentle touches. He's far more sensitive on the skin over his stomach than on his nipples but any grazing of her fingers is enough to have him react, whether by shivering or arching his body towards or away from them. Distracting in many ways, and between that and planting kisses and light nibbles on her skin, it takes him a while to undo her bra, but he does manage eventually, then he slides the straps down from her shoulders. ]

[ She pulls back enough to slide her arms out of the straps, her hands joining his in tugging it off and discarding it entirely. Which is when she moves, shifting her position on the bed until she can straddle his lap, her legs bent at the outside of his thighs as she resettles. It brings her head just slightly higher than his, but she's quick to lean in and kiss him again.

And her hands, still tangled with his from removing the bra, drag his hands back to her skin, bringing them up so his palms cup against her breasts. ]

[ Bruce doesn't need a whole lot of convincing but he lets himself be guided nonetheless, leaning away just enough himself to look at her properly. His hands cup her breasts perfectly, with a gentle squeeze as he grazes one of his thumbs over a nipple, a touch most of all curious at first.

All the while he leans closer, planting small kisses down from her collarbone, soft sighs leaving him as he shifts on the bed, tries to press himself more presently against her. ]

[ Her eyes go dark at his touch, her breath hitching softly in reaction. Her lips curve to watch him look and she's not at all self-conscious, leaning into his warm touch, breathy chuckle escaping her as he explores.

She lets her head tilt back when his mouth travels along her skin, another soft sound slipping from her lips, enjoying the attention. She wraps her arms around him, more than happy to be pressed firmly against him. Although she lets him decide when to take the next step this time, when he's ready to go further. He certainly won't find her objecting. ]

[ They stay like so for a while, Bruce not making any particular effort to move or to seek for anything else other than the light touches and kisses where he can reach. One of his hands rounds her side, slides up and down her back, tracing her spine until he reaches the hem of her jeans.

He spares only a few more touches, managing to kiss farther down when she presses herself closer to him, but eventually he does pause and move his hands to her hips. She's not light exactly but she's not too heavy that he can't lift her weight, gentle and slow as he turns them to the side and lies her down, her back to the mattress, him following after. ]

[ She lets him, tightening her arms slightly around his shoulders as he shifts them, steadying herself against his solid presence. The comforter is warm and soft under her back and she stretches a bit, luxurious and sensual, her eyes half-lidded and still locked on his face, curious about what he'll choose next, patient to let him but also willing to meet him halfway if it looks like he's about to start having doubts again. ]
