She looks no worse for wear, but still he slides a hand down to that new scar, thumb brushing over it, tracing the new mark like he used to whenever she got her skin bruised or marred.

"It's very difficult to say no after so long not seeing you."

He smiles, leaning in to brush his nose against hers.
