Except hers is just her brain's attempt to tune out the incessant babbling of the annoying women who are looking for just the right kind of mascara, yapping as they ask their friends if a particular shade of red lipstick makes them look too slutty. Worse yet when they turn to her with questions that she really doesn't care the least bit about, and as the day goes on, she gets less and less capable of pretending that she does.
