He had to roll his eyes. Of course Jim would be impossible. But it wasn't in irritation or frustration. More a fondness for the blonde and his stubbornness. He like Jim exactly how he was. Even when he wanted to strangle him sometimes for being so damn ornery.

"Of course it does. What was I thinkin'?" He arched a brow feigning a look of being scandalized before breaking into a soft laugh. In the end, he hummed a happy almost melting sound at the kiss and the way Jim's thumbs smoothed over his face. Such little things made him mush and he knew it. And especially today. Today when Jim gave him everything. "I know, ya little exhibitionist." He teased lightly and dropped in closer to kiss the corner of Jim's eye softly before kissing his cheek next in soft succession.

"I believe you." Where he always did, this time the words were heartfelt and full of gratitude. Something he punctuated by wrapping Jim up in his arms as he lowered down to rest his cheek against Jim's chest and shoulder lightly. Close enough he could just listen to the beating of his heart.
