Jim smiled at her words, his gaze warmer. Despite the tone of their conversation, he couldn't help feeling immensely happy to get that answer from her. He'd loathe a life without her at this point. He wasn't even sure he'd manage to part now, but...

He just needed her to be completely sure that this was what she wanted. That she was aware of the risks and that she fully accepted them.

"And I'm yours," he said as he lifted his head and pressed his lips to hers. His hand settled on her side and he flipped them around on the bed, so that she was lying on her back and he was hovering above her.
