"I've never worn pants," she replied. "I do still want to look like a lady, to be beautiful for you." He was right about the practicality of pants though. Perhaps she would only wear them if she knew she was going to have to do something physically demanding. "I'll do more of the laundry and mending and whatever else you think I can handle."

Mary leaned her head up and kissed his jaw. "I suppose we should be getting clean in this tub, but I must admit that lying here with you naked is making me want to do things that are decidedly unclean."
