Mary was much more of a worrier than Jim was, so of course she was already dwelling on what would happen when she saw her family again. She tried not to focus on it all of the time though, because she knew that doing so would only make her crazy.

The bed was cozy and she did not want to get up at first, but after watching him dump a few of the buckets into the bath, she thought that she ought to help. She left the warmth of the blankets and joined him in filling the tub. A nice steam was already rising off of the water. When it was full, Mary got in, sighing gently at the feeling of the warm water enveloping her body. She glanced up at Jim, waiting for him to join her.
