Bruce lies down where he is all the while, very still, his mind coming back to him along with his focus, and there's... nothing. His heart is racing, though, his body's light, he feels his skin tingling everywhere, all signs of an adrenaline surge, except there's nothing of the ugly consequence that he's gotten so used to.
